MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) - Halloween weekend has arrived, and while the weekend calls for dressing up in a costume and trick or treating, for many, it calls for drinking.
This is why the City of Miami Beach Police Department, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Uber Miami have joined forces to remind South Floridians not to drink and drive over the weekend. Instead, with the tap of a button, get an Uber driver to take you to and from your destination safely and with ease.

On Friday, representatives from Miami Beach PD, MADD and Uber Miami hosted a press event to discuss just how crucial it is to not drive under the influence.
Representatives also shared consumer tips to stay safe over the weekend.
According to Uber, this Halloween weekend, millions of riders across the U.S. will turn to Uber for a safe trip home following festivities with family and friends. And hundreds of thousands of drivers will be there to provide those rides and help people avoid drinking and driving.
