MIAMI (WSVN) - A Miami native hosted a fashion fundraiser for cancer awareness, Thursday.
Liz Nieves, creator of the dancewear band ILO Gear hosted a fashion event in Miami to showcase her newest collection of active wear.
Miami’s beat dancers strut down the catwalk to raise money for the “Live Like Bella” foundation.
Ten percent of the show sales will go to the foundation.
Bella Rodriguez-Torres was 4 years old when she became paralyzed due to a large tumor in her spine with seven other tumors throughout her body.
She fought cancer six times until her death on May 28, 2013.
