SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Rescue crews took a man to the hospital after, officials said, he was struck by lightning in Southwest Miami-Dade, Monday afternoon.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, the victim was sitting in a white Dodge Ram truck when he was struck just before 3 p.m. in a remote area along Southwest 272nd Street, near the Everglades.
Paramedics transported him to Homestead Hospital in unknown condition.
