MIAMI (WSVN) - A man was rushed to the hospital after, authorities said, he jumped off Interstate 95 in Miami moments after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash, Saturday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the victim, a man in his mid-20s, was involved in a four-car accident near the Northwest 69th Street exit. As soon as his vehicle came to a complete stop, he jumped over the wall, landing on the railroad tracks below.
Paramedics transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
It remains unclear why he fled the scene.
There were no other reported injuries.
