MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — Several agencies are currently working to repair a wastewater line leak at Dade Boulevard between Convention Center Drive and Meridian Avenue.
The cause of the break is unknown at the time. County and state warning points were notified.
A precautionary advisory has been issued to limit contact with water at Collins Canal, Indian Creek, and Biscayne Bay along the western shoreline of Miami Beach from Government Cut to Kennedy Causeway.
There is no concern towards drinking the water.
Miami-Dade County Department of Environmental Resource Management and Department of Health will be sampling the waters.
