David Bowie passed away earlier this year, leaving behind family, friends and fans. But that’s not all. There are also never-before-seen photos of the late musician that were left behind, too.

From now until the middle of March, the Markowicz Gallery in the Design District will be home to "David Bowie: Unseen" by Markus Klinko, and Deco was there for the exhibit’s opening night bash.

Markus Klinko: "I’m showing, together with the gallery, a bunch of never-before-seen photos of David Bowie, as well as some that have been [shown] before on his record cover and magazine covers."

Markus Klinko has worked with everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyoncé.

Markus Klinko: "I am a fashion photographer with an accent on fashion and celebrities."

And he shot the cover of David’s album, "Heathen."

This photographer to the stars decided some photos from the 2001 photo shoot needed new life.

Markus Klinko: "After he died, I decided to pick some never-before used images from my archives and blow them up really big and bring them around the world."

The exhibit has 15 photos in varying sizes. Since the pics were shot on Fuji film and scanned, at the exhibit you can even check out proofs.

Markus Klinko: "I would say some of the best pieces are definitely here."

Some of the photos have great back stories, like the 2002 GQ photos of David with wolves.

Because David was on tour, Markus got creative.

Markus Klinko: "The images from the initial fashion for the album ‘Heathen’ were combined with the shots of the body model and the wolves and resulted in the series."

If you want a piece of David Bowie history, you can purchase them at the gallery. Prices range from $4,000 to just over $12,000.

Markus Klinko: "Working with David Bowie was definitely one of the best professional experiences of my life."
