MIAMI (WSVN) — Perdue Foods is recalling nearly 4,530 pounds of chicken nuggets that may be contaminated with plastic materials.
Consumers complained that small, solid, clear plastic were found inside the nuggets.
The recall is for 8-oz. boxed packages containing approximately 18 pieces of “Applegate Naturals Chicken Nuggets” with Best Before Date 09/27/2016.
The packaged nuggets were sold in Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas.
Consumers who purchased the nuggets are urged not to eat them, they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
