FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (WSVN) - A toddler who endured a liver transplant is getting a dream trip to Disney, and it all started with a special sendoff from South Florida, Friday.
Three-year-old Deanna, who underwent the transplant at just 7 months old, is a huge fan of Disney’s “Frozen,” so organizers at the Make-A-Wish Foundation decided to treat her to a winter wonderland party with special guests Anna and Elsa.
Deanna’s parents said they are thankful for all the support. “It’s great to see the community come together and show support for families that have gone through life-threatening diseases, and to see everyone’s support is empowering,” said Heidi Anderson. “We’re blessed to have so many people in our daughter’s corner.”
Deanna’s next stop is Walt Disney World.
