MIRAMAR, FLA. (WSVN) - Police in Miramar are looking for a hammer-wielding crook who broke into at least three fast food restaurants looking for cash.
Miramar Police responded to a KFC and Taco Bell restaurant location along Utopia Drive, Tuesday, at around 1:49 a.m. According to officials, the man broke into the front window of the restaurant with a hammer before trying to pry open the cash registers.
Later, officers also responded to a Little Caesars, around 2:45 a.m., on University Drive. The damage to the business resembled the same as the burglary prior at the KFC/Taco Bell. The front door was smashed in and the cash registers inside were damaged.

Police also said shortly after responding to the pizzeria, they noticed a Subway sandwich restaurant was also burglarized.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken in the burglaries. Police believe the man may also be involved in a fourth burglary.
