SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - The Florida Highway Patrol investigated the discovery of a woman’s body found along the Turnpike in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Authorities responded to the northbound lanes of the Turnpike, near Southwest 152nd Street, at around 3:30 a.m., Tuesday.
7Skyforce flew over the scene where the body could be seen covered by a yellow tarp. At this point, the victim’s identity remains unknown.
Investigators have not yet determined how she died.
The ramp connecting the northbound lanes of the Turnpike to the Don Shula Expressway has been reopened after being shut down.
Miami-Dade Police were assisting in the case.
The investigation remains ongoing.
