NORTH KEY LARGO, Fla. (WSVN) — Five South Florida teens were injured after a golf cart flipped over in Ocean Reef, Thursday.

According to police, the teens, all 13, were riding down Sunrise Cay Drive when the accident happened.

Three of them were rushed to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital as trauma alerts. The other two were treated on the scene.

This the second golf cart accident involving children this week.

On Monday, a golf cart with five kids in it was hit by a car in Palmetto Bay, sending two kids to the hospital, including a 12 year-old who was last listed in critical condition.
