An area of clouds and rain stretches from western Cuba across the Florida Peninsula and Bahamas. This will continue to leave us with tropical moisture around. Therefore, look for scattered to numerous showers through Saturday. Isolated storms can’t be ruled out. Flooding from pockets of heavy rain will be the main concern.
By Sunday, it will be hotter and not rain chances will be back to seasonal. Most of the computer models show that winds will turn out of the West-Northwest as high pressure builds into the Gulf of Mexico. This will allow for showers and storms to form inland and push to the East coast in the afternoon.
Tropical Update: Outside of a few areas of clouds and rain, we are not following any for development at this time.
