This morning South Florida got to see a SUPER SIGHT! The Super Flower Blood Moon!!!

High pressure is still holding and keeping our weather nice and dry. Temperatures will be typical today and Thursday with overnight lows in the low to mid 70’s and highs in the upper 80’s. By Friday, high pressure and our winds off the ocean will gradually weaken allowing temperatures and humidity to rise. Highs will be around 90 degrees over the weekend.

Long range model runs are showing that deeper moisture moves in from the tropics Sunday into Monday and it gets hung up over South Florida due to a weak front. This means that a chance of showers returns. Wetter times next week?

Today in the Tropics

All is quiet in the tropics. We are not following any areas for development at this time.

The first tropical wave came off the coast of Africa yesterday.

Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
