There is some drier air moving westward from the Central and Southern Bahamas into South Florida. This will keep conditions with bright sunshine along the coast to heat things up. Forecast highs are will be into the 90’s with feels-like temperatures in the 100’s, so stay extra hydrated and if possible, limit your outdoor exposure.
By Wednesday and Thursday, we will start to increase the rain chances. Most of the computer models are showing that we could tap into some added moisture from a wave currently over Hispaniola. If the wave holds, look for more showers and storms to finish off the week. Hopefully it will be much drier going into Father’s Day weekend. For now, a good rain chance is in the forecast as deep tropical moisture will be in place.
Tropical Update: All is quiet. We are not following any areas for development at this time.
