Expect the usual pattern of summertime heat and humidity for our Saturday.

Peak temps will be in the low 90s across the region. The sea breeze will give way to coastal showers turning into scattered storms with the heating of the day. While we cannot rule out a storm or two over the metro and coastal areas, the bulk of the moisture will be favoring the inland spots this weekend.

Heading out on the water to beat the heat? Boating conditions are looking good with no advisories and coastal waters at a moderate chop. Beachgoers should be a little more cautious with a moderate risk of rip currents.

We will continue this typical summertime pattern (AM showers, PM inland storms) to start off the work week. Models are suggesting we could see a better chance of showers and storms by midweek. Stay tuned!
