A soggy start

We are tapping into moisture from the tropics associated with the Northern extent of a tropical wave located in the Caribbean Sea. Most of the morning will be wet. Some of the downpours could produce gusty winds. In fact, Islamorada reported after 4 am a wind gust of 51 mph with the rain that moved through.

The afternoon will be a little drier with isolated showers and limited sun. Highs should by then manage to reach the upper 80’s to low 90’s.
