Local Weather:

South Florida we will have a quiet start followed by an active afternoon and early evening of storms. The forecast is calling for better coverage of showers and storms inland and slowly moving towards the east coast. A similar weather pattern should continue through tomorrow. By Thursday, look for the breeze to build out of the east and anything that develops with the heating of the day to be pushed well inland. Slightly drier weather will be around to finish off the week.

Tropical Weather:

Tropical Storm Karl is struggling to strengthen, but conditions are right for it to grow. The official forecast track has Karl as a hurricane coming close to Bermuda. They need to closely monitor the latest through the upcoming weekend.

Tropical Depression Thirteen is expected to become a tropical storm later today. This one will only be a concern for the shipping lanes and possibly weakening over the weekend.

Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
