Good morning South Florida!
We are waking up to partly cloudy skies with isolated showers on the breeze. Temperature wise look for the upper 80’s to low 90’s in the afternoon and the in the upper 70’s overnight. This pattern is attributed to high pressure sitting just to our East. However, it will start change going into Thursday. As high pressure nudges South, our winds will be turning out of the Southwest. This will lead to more moisture being filtered through with better rain coverage. Therefore, look for the sea breeze driven showers and thunderstorms be held closer to the East coast.
Most of the computer models show that the rain chance will be high through Saturday. By Sunday, the return of an East wind will bring our rain chances back to typical for this time of year. Be sure to have the umbrellas with you!
Tropical Update:
The National Hurricane Center is not following any area of development at this time.
