We have tropical moisture in place with a strong breeze off of the ocean. That very same breeze has been drawing in quick showers with isolated storms since the overnight hours. Hopefully the breeze will remain in place to push the afternoon showers and storms that develop well inland into Southwest Florida.
By tomorrow, if the moisture holds with another area of clouds and rain located from the Bahamas into the Caribbean Sea, we may see numerous showers and storms. Right now, the rain chance is up to a 50% and tropical moisture could linger through Thursday.
