Local Weather:
South Florida make sure you have the umbrellas with you each day this week. We have plenty of available moisture to support scattered showers and thunderstorms developing this afternoon. Also, a weak front will stall over Central Florida on Wednesday trapping more moisture our way. This will leave South Florida with a decent rain chance especially in the afternoon through Friday. The primary concern with the activity that forms will be for dangerous lightning.

Tropical Update:
Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure about 1100 miles to the east of the Windward Islands continues to show signs of organization. Conditions are expected to remain favorable for development, and tropical depression or storm is likely to form mid-week while it moves west to west-northwest at 15-20 mph. Strong gusty winds and heavy rain will spread over the Windward Islands late Tuesday or Wednesday. Interests in the eastern and central Caribbean Sea, including the northern coast of South America, should monitor the progress of this potential organized system.
Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
