Local Weather:
Tropical moisture remains in place over South Florida along with winds out of the southwest. Therefore, look for showers and storms to develop out west and be steered toward the east coast. This will happen each afternoon through Saturday with a good rain chance in the forecast.
By Sunday, our rain chances will be typical for this time of year. They will go down to a 40%. Winds will swing around off of the ocean once again. That should keep most of the showers and storms that form during the heating of the day well inland and favoring southwest Florida.
Temperatures will stay steamy in the 90’s each afternoon and feeling more like the triple digits, so if your plans take your outdoor, drink plenty of water!

Tropical Update: An area of clouds and rain associated with a tropical wave currently over Honduras, Nicaragua and stretching into the Northwestern Caribbean Sea is disorganized and unlikely to develop as it interacts with land. However, once it emerges into the Southern Gulf of Mexico over the weekend, it has a low chance to develop through next five days as per The National Hurricane Center.
Have a wonderful day South Florida and make it a safe one!
