Good morning South Florida!
Don’t leave home without an umbrella!
There is a weak frontal boundary that is lingering over the Florida Straits and a passing tropical wave to our South in the Caribbean that will that will leave us with a good chance for rain through Thursday. Both of these factors could trigger some strong storms capable of producing frequent lightning, locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds up to 50 mph with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms across South Florida late morning and into the afternoon hours. High temperatures are expected to stay in the upper 80’s to low 90’s and low temperatures are forecast to be in the 70’s.
Tropical Update:
The tropics are quiet, as we are not following any areas for development.
