The potential for strong storms will be present. Storm hazards will include gusty winds, downpours and frequent lightning.

With the sea breeze picking up on Sunday into Monday, expect scattered showers and storms to remain in the forecast with the bulk of the moisture over the inland areas by the afternoon/evening hours.

Additionally, Gaston is a post-tropical system. The last advisory was issued on Saturday morning. This feature will continue to fizzle out into Sunday.

Lastly, we are watching a tropical wave producing showers and storms located over 500 miles to the east of the Lesser Antilles. The National Hurricane Center is giving this feature low chances for development over the next 5 days as it moves west at 15-20 mph.

Regardless over development, it will bring heavy rain and gusty winds to parts of the Lesser Antilles this weekend.
