As we remember those who have served past and present this Memorial Day, we hope everyone has a safe holiday!

We are experiencing some early morning coastal showers, especially near Miami Beach where there is plenty of cloud-to-ground lightning activity off the East coast. The forecast this Memorial Day for Miami-Dade and Broward counties calls for partly cloudy with isolated passing showers in the morning and inland scattered showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon. Also, Key West has some great weather in store with mostly clear skies and scattered showers. Rain chances will be typical for this time of year at 40%. Temperature wise we are ranging from the mid to upper 80’s. Winds are out of the at 5-10 mph.

The rest of the week will continue with this typical Summer-like pattern of warm and humid conditions with afternoon inland showers and thunderstorms.

Tropical Depression Bonnie is moving Northeast along the coastline of Charleston, North Carolina with 30 mph winds. Bonnie is expected travel slowly through mid-Atlantic states between Tuesday and Wednesday spreading periods of heavy rain through New England. Eventually whatever is leftover of Bonnie, will move into the Western Atlantic Ocean by the weekend.

Make it a good day!
