A wedge of drier air was able to work into south Florida recently.   On Wednesday, much of the area enjoyed some clearing and drying (which comes at a premium during September).    Already, there are signs that more moisture is advancing.   That will lead to at least some passing downpours as we round out the work week.   By the way, the main “culprit” for the wetter change is a weak tropical wave that’s crossing Cuba and mainly staying south of us.   However, as the boundary moves on… it will send deeper moisture plumes.   Showers will tend to push along our easterly flow from the Atlantic Ocean, over the next couple of days.
