It has been a soggy start to the weekend. Lots of deep tropical moisture was around to trigger heavy rains that prompted flood concerns. Some areas in Broward received about 2 inches in just a few hours. However, we are slowly going to dry out.

Computer models show that drier air along with Saharan Dust will arrive from the Caribbean on Sunday. This is going to bring down the rain chances between 20-30% with fewer showers and storms. It will also make for hazy skies and hotter temperatures in the afternoon hours through Wednesday. Record heat will be possible as a result… Keep in mind that those who suffer from allergies could be sensitive to the Saharan Dust, so take the proper precautions.
