At 735 PM EDT, National Weather Service Meteorologists detected a
strong thunderstorm over Sunset Key, or near Key West, moving
northeast at 40 mph.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Key West, Marathon, Bahia Honda Channel Bridge, Seven Mile Bridge,
East End Of Seven Mile Bridge, Big Coppitt Key, Boca Chica Channel
Bridge, Niles Channel Bridge, Spanish Harbor Channel Bridge and Boca
Chica.

This includes US 1 between mile markers 0 and 47.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near
Palmdale to near Golden Gate Estates. Movement was east at 35 mph.

* Small hail, funnel clouds, and winds in excess of 45 mph will be
possible with these storms.

* Locations impacted include…
Naples, Belle Glade, Marco Island, Clewiston, Pahokee, South Bay,
Labelle, Moore Haven, Chokoloskee, Palmdale, Montura, Immokalee,
Lakeport, Canal Point, Ave Maria, Buckhead Ridge, Lake Harbor,
Golden Gate Estates, Everglades City and Cape Romano.

Romano. Movement was east at 50 mph.

* Small hail, funnel clouds, and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be
possible with these storms.

* Locations impacted include…
Chokoloskee, Everglades City, Plantation Island, Wilderness
Waterway, Loop Road Ee Center, Dade-Collier Training Airport,
Fortymile Bend and Big Cypress National Preserve.

These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around
