PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Shelby Miller got back on the winning track after a short stint on the disabled list.

Miller threw 6 2-3 sharp innings, Jake Lamb hit a two-run homer and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the reeling Philadelphia Phillies 3-1 Monday to complete a four-game sweep.

Miller (2-6) allowed one run and five hits, striking out five in his first start since May 24. He was sidelined by a sprained right index finger.

“I’m just trying to keep up with them,” Miller said of the rest of Arizona’s rotation. “They’ve been doing so good.”

The Phillies went 0-6 on their first winless homestand of six or more games since Sept. 21-27, 1964, when they went 0-7 at Connie Mack Stadium before losing three more games in a historic collapse from first place.

“Terrible homestand,” Phillies manager Pete Mackanin said. “On a scale of 1 to 10, I’m a 9 in frustration.”

Jeremy Hellickson (4-6) allowed three runs and four hits before getting an out. He rebounded nicely and lasted seven innings.

Jean Segura led off with a double and scored on Phil Gosselin’s single. Lamb hit a towering shot off the scoreboard in right for his 14th homer and a 3-0 lead.

“I’ve been able to see pitches a lot better,” Lamb said. “It feels good.”

The Phillies got their only run in the second when Tyler Goeddel’s double scored Andres Blanco after he started the inning with a double.

Miller left with two runners on in the seventh. Tyler Clippard retired pinch-hitter Jimmy Paredes on a fly ball to end the inning. Daniel Hudson tossed a perfect eighth. Brad Ziegler pitched out of trouble in the ninth for his 43rd consecutive save and 15th this season.
