MIAMI (WSVN) - Miami Heat shooting guard and captain Dwyane Wade is open to listening to offers from other teams, ESPN reported on Tuesday.
Wade is reportedly not happy with the negotiations with the Heat. The basketball star went through a similar situation in 2015 and ended up with a one-year contract for $20 million.
However, the Miami Heat only have $45 million left under the salary cap, and they have nine free agents, including Hassan Whiteside.
Associated Press reporter Tim Reynolds told 7News he spoke with Wade and said the report is accurate. However, no meetings with other teams have been set up.
Wade is on vacation in Europe with LeBron James and Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers. Next week, he is scheduled to co-host with Kelly Ripa on her TV show, “LIVE with Kelly.”
