(AP) — It’s now a seven-game winning streak for the Boston Red Sox, and a magic number of six for winning the American League East title.

Andrew Benintendi launched a three-run homer while the Bosox scored five unearned runs in the sixth inning of a 5-1 victory at Baltimore. The Orioles led 1-0 in the sixth until first baseman Chris Davis committed a throwing error that allowed two runs to score.

The O’s did little against winning pitcher Clay Buchholz, who gave up just a run and three hits over seven innings after entering the game with a 5.20 ERA.

The Red Sox now lead their division by five games over Toronto, with the Orioles six games back.
