John Hunter Nemechek’s Camping World Truck Series team was docked 10 points for failing to meet the proper ride height in a post-race inspection at Iowa Speedway.

The loss of those points dropped Nemechek from sixth place to a tie for ninth in the standings.

Nemechek was also fined $5,000 and placed on probation through the end of 2016 for approaching the race area following an incident with Austin Wayne Self.

Nemechek’s crew chief, Gere Kennon, was fined $6,000 and also received probation for the ride height infraction.

The crew chiefs for five of the top six finishers in last week’s NASCAR Xfinity race in Iowa, including the winning No. 18 car, were also put on probation through the end of 2016 because of irregularities discovered in a pre-race inspection.
