MIAMI GARDENS, FLA. (WSVN) - University of Miami officials are letting fans know that if you don’t have a ticket to Saturday’s big game versus Florida State, you won’t be able to enter Hard Rock Stadium’s parking lot. Officials also cut the time for fans to tailgate by two hours, giving fans less time to prepare for the rivalry game.

The Green and RV tailgating lots will now open at 4 p.m., while the Blue, Maroon, Yellow, Purple and Orange lots will open at 5 p.m, according to University of Miami officials. They were originally going to open at 2 and 3 p.m.

“The decision to move forward with the game came after numerous conversations between Florida State, the ACC, Hard Rock Stadium, the University of Miami and through consultation with Miami Dade County,” a news release said.

Officials said anyone who does not have a ticket to the game, or do not have a ticket waiting at will call or on a pass list, will not be permitted to enter the tailgating area at Hard Rock Stadium.

The game is scheduled for Saturday night at Hard Rock Stadium with kickoff set for 8 p.m.

Both schools will present a check for $50,000 that will go towards hurricane relief.
