WASHINGTON (AP) — George Washington will face Florida State in the annual BB&T Classic at Verizon Center on Dec. 4.
George Washington, which won the NIT last season, announced the meeting on Tuesday. It’s the 21st time the Colonials will be participating in the event and the first time since 2014.
Florida State and George Washington have played each other twice, but not since 1979. The Seminoles won both games.
George Washington will visit Florida State during the 2017-18 season as part of the agreement.
