MIAMI (WSVN) - Dwyane Wade is currently in contract talks with the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks, ESPN is reporting, Friday.

It’s news Heat fans definitely do not want to hear regarding Dwyane Wade.

According to the report, a meeting with the two teams could be set for next week when Wade returns from his vacation in Europe. The 34-year-old has said he wants to stay in Miami, but he wants a new multi-year deal.

Wade played college basketball in Milwaukee at Marquette University.

Free agency began at midnight Friday and the Heat quickly agreed to a four-year deal with Hassan Whiteside, worth $98 million. The 27-year-old center did talk with the Dallas Mavericks, but announced that he will continue to play with Miami, Friday morning.

Owner Mickey Arison, Team President Pat Riley and Alonzo Mourning are set to speak with the biggest name in free agency, Kevin Durant, Sunday.
