MIAMI (AP) – Colin Voss had 13 rebounds and six assists, both career-highs, to lead North Texas to a 70-56 victory over Florida International on Saturday.

T.J. Taylor scored 18 points, Jordan Williams had 16 points and Jeremy Combs chipped in 10 for North Texas (13-13, 7-7 Conference USA), which won its fourth straight. Voss, who averaged 15.3 points per game during the Mean Green’s last three games, was held to eight points on 3-of-10 shooting from the floor.

FIU (13-14, 6-8) opened the second half on a 7-2 surge and led 32-31. The Mean Green used a 15-3 run and led 46-35 with 12:15 remaining. FIU’s Dominique Williams made a layup to pull the Golden Panthers within 55-48 with 4:47 left. North Texas answered with a 10-0 surge and cruised from there.

Dennis Mavin scored 19 points, and Adrian Diaz added 13 points with six blocks for FIU.
