MIAMI (WSVN) - Former Miami Heat small forward and two-time champion Shane Battier may not be playing basketball but is still raising money here in South Florida.

Battier showed off his moves and let his vocal cords loose at “Battioke,” a karaoke contest that raises money for undeserved future leaders. The “Battier Take Charge Foundation” has raised almost $3.25 million in the past six years.

Thursday night’s event was at the Ball and Chain in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra and his wife were at “Battioke” and sang a duet from “Grease.”
