PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — A person with direct knowledge of the situation says veteran free-agent running back Reggie Bush is traveling to meet with the Buffalo Bills.

The person says the Bills will sign Bush pending the player passing a physical, which he is scheduled to take on Monday. The person spoke to The Associated Press Monday on the condition of anonymity because the Bills have not announced their plans.

CBSSports.com first reported Bush was scheduled to sign with the team pending his physical.

Bush is a 10-year NFL veteran who played five games with San Francisco last year before sustaining a season-ending left knee injury when he slipped on the bare concrete bordering the Edward Jones Dome field in St. Louis.
