SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) — Police are searching for a woman who, they said, was caught on camera swiping a package from a Southwest Miami-Dade home in broad daylight, Monday.

Eighteen-year-old Darian Vega said he was eagerly awaiting a blender and protein shake he had ordered. After receiving confirmation of its arrival, he came home to realize the parcel was not on his doorstep.

"I just started looking around my house, looking for a box, and it wasn’t here," he said.

It didn’t take long for Vega to realize what had happened to his package. Surveillance video showed a Mercedes-Benz SUV pulling up in front of his home. "What I saw was a white Mercedes had parked in my driveway," he said.

A woman wearing sunglasses is then seen getting out of the vehicle, holding what appears to be fliers. She then approaches the entrance, picks up the cardboard box and gets back in the SUV.

"The lady came down with a flier, acting like she was supposed to leave a flier," said Vega. "Then she took the box."

Vega said he’d just started working out and had placed an order on Amazon for the shake and blender as part of his regimen. "When someone is cruel, someone doesn’t think about others," said Vega.

If you have any information on this woman’s whereabouts, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
