MIAMI (WSVN) — Police have arrested and charged a woman who, they said, threatened Miami Beach police officers.

Miami Beach Police Department said that 39-year-old Johanna Garcia had sent several e-mails and left several voice messages threatening to kill and blow up law enforcement officers, particularly those with the Miami Beach Police Department.

The threats were sent to Sergeant supervisor Jorge Garcia as well as the city records manager.

Garcia left multiple voicemails, according to her arrest affidavit, in which she stated, "I’m gonna kill you all, I’m gonna blow you up, [expletive]."

Investigators said she has also been accused of e-mailing the city records manager, where she said she would "blow him up" if he did not respond.

According to Garcia’s arrest affidavit, she has been charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury, sending threatening or harassing phone calls, harming a public servant and threats to throw or place a destructive device or bomb. Garcia has been sent to TGK Correctional Center.

Garcia appeared in bond court, Monday, facing several charges, including making a bomb threat and threatening to kill law enforcement officers.
