MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) — The woman accused of a deadly drive that left a local celebrity chef dead on Miami Beach has made a plea deal with prosecutors.

Karlie Tomica, according to sources, has agreed to serve four years behind bars, two years house arrest and 15 years of probation.

According to Miami Beach Police, on Jan. 28, at around 6 in the morning, the then 20-year-old Tomica struck South Beach chef Stefano Riccioletti and drove off, leaving him to die.

In an update to this tragic case, Tomica, who called herself a "party princess" on Twitter before the accident, and was accused of being drunk before running over and killing Riccioletti, reached the agreement with prosecutors. This is according to sources close to the case. A judge will have to finalize the agreement when the case is brought to court on Wednesday.

Photos of Tomica were taken shortly after the crash that show the distraught young woman with makeup running down her face.

After the collision that killed Riccioletti, a Good Samaritan, Jairo Fuentes, followed Tomica to her Collins Avenue apartment.

Caller: "I'm following that lady right now."

Dispatch: "You're following the subject?"

Caller: "Yes, I'm following her now. Yes."

Police said that Tomica had just finished her bar-tending job at South Beach hot spot Nikki Beach. Prosecutors said her blood alcohol level was close to three times over the legal limit at the time of the crash.

Now, six months after the incident that claimed a husband and father, it appears that the case is coming to a resolution, as Tomica, according to sources, will now enter into an agreement with the State where she will sit behind bars.
