SEATTLE (WHDH) – Uber is letting customers plan ahead, with its new “Schedule a Ride” feature.

Customers can now schedule rides from 30 minutes to 30 days in advance.

According to Uber, priority access will be given to riders who have Business Profiles or are linked to their company’s Uber for Business account.

Zillow Group, an Uber for Business customer, released the following statement about the new feature:

“Zillow Group employees already love Uber for Business and we’re excited they now have the option to schedule an Uber in advance. Scheduled Rides will improve the business travel experience for our employees, especially when they want extra assurance a ride will be there when they need it.”

The global roll out of Scheduled Rides started Thursday in Seattle, and will be followed by other top business travel cities.

Uber said Scheduled Rides are priced exactly like a normal uberX ride, and subject to pricing conditions at the future time the request is made.

A ride can be canceled any time before the Uber driver is dispatched.

Those who want early access to “Schedule a Ride” can click here to sign up to be the first to try it out in their city.
