Sweets are given the green light on National Chocolate Day

MIAMI (WSVN) - Do not feel guilty about digging into that Halloween candy a little early on Friday because today is National Chocolate Day.

Cultivated by the Incas and Mayans some 3,000 years ago, the global delicacy is not only delicious but can be good for you, too.

Dark chocolate, according to research studies, can raise good cholesterol levels, while bringing down the bad cholesterol. It also has fiber and antioxidants.
