IWAKUNI, Japan (WSVN) – A search and rescue mission is underway for a U.S. Marine Corps jet that crashed, Wednesday, near Japan.
According to FOX News, the Marine Corps pilot ejected before his F-18 Hornet jet crashed off the coast of Iwakuni.
There has been no official confirmation of what caused the crash.
However, the Marine Corps said this is not the first incident where a pilot has crashed. Between June and August, three jets similar to the F-18 Hornet have crashed.
