CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) — A Florida tractor-trailer driver is facing numerous drug charges after authorities say they found 131 pounds of marijuana in his rig in Virginia.

Chesterfield County police Lt. Jim Profita tells media outlets that 55-year-old Collin Ashley, of Coconut Creek, Florida, was arrested Sunday following a traffic stop on Interstate 295. Authorities say the drugs are worth more than $327,000 on the street.

Profita says officers had their eye on Ashley since 2012. They say his arrest is part of a much larger investigation.

Investigators believe Ashley drove the drugs up from Florida, where online records show he owns a trucking company.

Ashley faces five charges, including distribution of more than five pounds of marijuana. It is unclear whether he has an attorney.
