MIAMI (WSVN) - NASA has said that for a short time, Mars will be visible with the naked in the night sky.

Monday night, Mars will be 46 million miles from Earth, which means that the red planet will be visible with the naked eye until June 3.

Mars is supposed to be so prominent that NASA said you probably won’t even need a star chart or a telescope to pick it out in the sky. Just look for the bright reddish star in the southeast.

The best time to see Mars is around 7 p.m.
