(WSVN) — He was fed up with packages being stolen off his porch. But instead of getting mad, he got even.
Jaireme Barrow uploaded surveillance video from his house to the website LiveLeak.com, titling the video, “Exploding package. Karma for package thief.”
“I got fed up with having my Jeep parts stolen so I decided to rig a package with a 12 gauge blank shell. Press play to see the aftermath,” Barrow wrote in the caption.
The attempted theft is shown from two different camera angles. The video shows a woman walking up to the house in an attempt to take the package from his front door. As she picks up the box, a bang is heard. She then screams, drops the package, and runs to a waiting SUV.
