OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (WSVN) – A New Jersey man was arrested in Kansas after he attempted to strangle a 4-month-old baby at a Wal-Mart store.
According to Overland Police, the baby’s mother was in line for checkout at her local Wal-Mart Wednesday morning. That’s when police said, the suspect who is from New Jersey, walked up and began to choke the baby.
A shopper who was also at the Wal-Mart saw what was occurring and restrained the suspect until officials arrived.
The suspect has since been taken into custody and is expect to face criminal charges.
The baby is OK.
