SPOKANE, Wa. (WSVN) — A Washington father went above and beyond to play copycat to his daughter’s selfies on social media, Tuesday.

FOX 19 reported that 19-year-old Cassie Martin’s father, Chris Martin, decided to imitate her numerous selfies on social media in a display of playful bonding.

Cassie told FOX 19 that she is a good sport about her father’s wacky antics. “My dad has always been the comedian of the family, and him remaking my selfie is hilarious,” Cassie said. The selfies went viral on Twitter, it even locked up Cassie’s phone because of too many notifications.

Chris Martin explained on his Instagram account that his inspiration came from a good place to teach his daughter a little self-respect. “A while ago, some of you saw I was copying the photos my daughter would post on her Facebook, mainly because I told her it looked like she was trying to escort Japanese businessmen, and to tone it down,” he wrote. “She did a little, but I still kept it up because sometimes I’m just bored. So here’s the latest.”
