Coast Guard offloads $33M in cocaine, marijuana in Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (WSVN) — The Coast Guard made a big bust, confiscating millions of dollars worth in drugs, which they offloaded at a Coast Guard station in Puerto Rico.

Officials said they confiscated more than $33 million worth of cocaine and marijuana after stopping two boats in the Caribbean and Atlantic over the weekend.

More than 4,000 pounds of drugs were seized.

Seven people involved were taken into custody.
