COZUMEL, Mexico (WSVN) — A group of migrants were spotted on a makeshift raft and were picked up by Carnival cruise ship crew, Friday evening.
According to U.S. Coast Guard officials, the Carnival Glory stopped their trip en route from Cozumel, Mexico, when crew members and passengers spotted 16 migrants on the small vessel.
Passengers recorded the scene of the migrants. The crew helped the migrants on board and provided them with blankets and other necessities.

The Coast Guard later arrived on the scene. Officials have not determined where the migrants are from. They have since been interdicted.
